Michael Jaroszewicz, Managing Director
Michael has more than 50 years of experience in structural engineering and project management across the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Australia, where he has practised since 1986. As a Company Director since 1989 and co-founder of MAJCON in 2007, he has led the design, management, and certification of a diverse range of commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
Michael specialises in remedial engineering, including forensic investigations, defect diagnosis, preparation of repair specifications, and project management of rectification works as Superintendent and Contract Administrator. A recognised leader within the profession, Michael is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and the Institution of Civil Engineers. He is a former President and current Director of the Association of Consulting Structural Engineers NSW and serves on the national board of the Australian Concrete Repair Association (ACRA).
Sandis Birins, Associate
Sandis is an experienced structural and remedial engineer with more than 15 years of industry experience across Europe and Australia. As an Associate at MAJCON, he leads residential and commercial remedial projects involving building façades, waterproofing, and structural defects. As Superintendent's Representative, Sandis has administered remedial works contracts valued at up to $2 million. He is a registered Design Practitioner and Professional Engineer under the Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020 in the disciplines of Structural, Civil, Façade, and Drainage Engineering.
Annie Hygert, Director Finance
Annie is a co-founder of MAJCON and is responsible for the company's finance, administration, and human resources functions. She leads the administration team in supporting project delivery and promoting the MAJCON brand throughout the NSW construction industry. As Financial Executive Officer since MAJCON's establishment, Annie provides strategic financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial management support to the Managing Director and project leaders.
